Diana Frances Spencer was (be) born on July its 1961

She was (be) a happy child.
Diana´s parents divorced (divorce) when she was six years old
Her parents fought (fight) over who got (get) to keep the children.
Diana´s father won (win) custody of the children.
She went (go) to boarding school when she was (be) nine years old.
In 1977, Diana Graduated (graduate) from secondary school.
Diana first met (meet) princes Charles when she was (be) sixteen.
They dated (date) for some time.
Diana and Charles got (get) engaged in 1981. Diana was (be) nineteen years
old.
They got (get) married five months later at St. Paul’s cathedral.
600,000 people came (come) out to celebrate on the streets of London and
hundreds of millions watched (watch) on tv.
Diana became (become) part of the royal family.
At twenty years of age, Diana gave (give) birth to prince William.
She was (be) a proud mother.
The young princess seemed (seem) happy.
But there was (be) problems with the marriage.

On august 31st 1997, Diana her boyfriend, and their driver died (die) in a high-
speed car crash in a Paris tunnel.

news.
The funeral took (take) place on September 6th, 1997.
