Bhakti Yoga

The video is about bhakti yoga, one of the three types of yoga that are discussed in the

Bhagavad Gita1. In the Bhakti yoga is described as the fervent devotion of a devotee to a

personal god as a means of achieving spiritual enlightenment. Jnana yoga and karma yoga are

the names of the two other schools of thought. Later, new subgroups emerged within

Hinduism that embraced raja yoga as the fourth spiritual route; nonetheless, it is not widely

acknowledged as a distinct path from the other three2.

In the video, Trisha is chanting while performing her yoga asana. The spiritual and religious

language was used by instructor. Asana is the practise of yoga positions. In addition to

referring to the physical component of yoga, asana may also be used to refer to a specific

posture, as in "The handstand is a tough asana" or "This flow consists of a succession of

standing asanas."

consistent yoga practise has the potential to increase mobility and flexibility, as well as

lubricate and better align the spine.

The Ujjayi breath is one of several that must be performed in time with the movements of a

yoga practise. The purpose of the postures is to promote health on all levels, including the

physical, mental, and spiritual3. These asanas may also help relieve anxiety and stress

because to their focus on breathing and relaxation.

Regular asana practise improves circulation, vascular function, blood lipids, and mood in

addition to bolstering the immune system (by reducing inflammation and stress). Consistent

practise of asanas over time may lead to noticeable benefits and advantages for the body.
