Title of Essay "PROLIFERATION OF GLOBAL CHILD PORNOGRAPHY " Research Analysis

The research study I chose was entitled "PROLIFERATION OF GLOBAL CHILD PORNOGRAPHY "by the
College of Criminal Justice. I was amazed by the title itself because it speaks to the reality the world
is currently facing but somewhat neglected and hidden nowadays. Also, as I scanned it, I found the
structure of the study like the one we did when I was in senior high, from the cover page to
curriculum vitae.

Basically, a research paper contains five chapters and each chapter consists of different topics or
mainly call it subtopics. First, chapter I, which is the introduction. This chapter is composed of the
Background of the Study, that specifically focused on the purpose or the reason behind the conduct
of the study. Next is the Statement of the Problem. This one is the problem the study is trying to
solve. This one also points out the important questions that the study needs to answer. The third
one is the Significance of the Study; this part identifies who will benefit from the research and how
they will benefit. The important aspect is that this one should match the recommendations. The
fourth one is the Scope and Limitations. It is about the coverage of the study and the things that are
not covered. And the last part of chapter one is the Definition of Terms. This defines technical terms
based on how they are used in the study, specifically in the title. This aims to provide the readers or
future researchers with the basic terminologies that are important to understand the paper.

Chapter II, the Review of Related Literature. This part is kind of tricky and exhausting because this
requires our patience in finding similar existing studies that might be helpful in making your studies
more powerful. Way back then, my teacher used to recommend us to look for related studies on
Google Schoolar or research gate and many other platforms. Also, the exciting part here is the
technical aspects. I mean not just in RRL, but also for the whole paper, from the font style, font size,
margins, spacing, justification and many others, especially in putting the citations. According to my
teacher, it must be in APA format and the one thing that I cannot forget is putting citations. It is very
important, since this one proves and helps our claim to be stronger, we cannot just say any
statements without another author's claim from other studies.

Chapter III, Research Methodology. This covers up the specific procedures used to identify, select,
process, and analyze information about a topic. Part of this is Research Design, the kind of research
used by your study. Next, Research Environment. This one includes the assumptions, shared values,
beliefs, and other forms of behavior, and refers to the populace that was researched. The third one
is the Research Procedure. It is a procedure that narrates the process undergone the study that
eventually leads to the findings. And the last part of chapter III, based on the study I am focusing on,
is Data Analysis. This is considered the most crucial part of any research. This involves the

interpretation of data gathered using analytical and logical reasoning to determine patterns,
relationships, or trends.

Chapter IV, the Tabulated Data, Results and Discussion. This is the culmination of your study and
represents your best thinking and how you answered the research question you had
formulated/stated in chapter one of the research project. This chapter comprises the analysis,
presentation and interpretation of the findings resulting from this study.

Lastly, Chapter V, Conclusion and Recommendations, summarizes the interpretation of data given in
Chapter IV. These should directly answer your statement of the problem. From your findings, your
conclusions are based on. This provides the answers for every statement of the problem. This is
where you will prove your hypotheses and assumptions. Finally, Recommendations, should be
directly based on the significance of the study. This also includes the recommended actions that
should be done after the conduct of the study, such as further assessment of the subject, focus on
other factors, etc.

Aside from the mentioned parts above, we also must consider other parts that also play an
important role, like the Title Page, which consists of the research title, names of the researchers and
the name of the English teacher. Acknowledgment, a personal page where the researchers are given
the privilege to extend gratitude to all people who helped in accomplishing the research. The Table
of Contents, contains the accurate paging of each part of the research paper. The list of tables/
figures includes the accurate paging of the tables/figures used in the study. Bibliography, where you
will use your Source cards. Presents the Sources using APA or MLA format. Appendix (e.g., survey
questionnaire, interview questions) etc.

The research study I am observing is entitled "PROLIFERATION OF GLOBAL CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

"and it is actually an interesting topic. The technical aspect is very impressive, from margin, spacing,
putting citations etc. Also, this topic is very relevant to reality relating to social issues. It gives
awareness to people, especially to young ones. And one of the reasons behind this issue is the
increase in the unemployment rate which leads to this type of crime. Cordova, et.al (2019) cited in
their study that recent work has generally revealed that unemployment, or changes to the
unemployment rate, are positively related to the explosion of child pornography. Unemployment
may increase an individual's motivation to commit a crime to overcome financial difficulties. The
absence of legal financial resources to help house and feed themselves, and the potential for
alienation as a result of these experiences, leave these youths at risk for criminal activity such as
involvement in child pornography.
