Additional information related to deliveries for the USA

80 units of Vestas V80-1.8 MW turbines for the Evanston project in Wyoming

As previously announced in Stock Exchange announcement no. 10/2003 of 1 June

2003 from Vestas Wind Systems A/S (“Vestas”), the fully-owned American subsidiary of
Vestas, Vestas - American Wind Technology, Inc., has received a large wind turbine
order of a total value of approximately mEUR 100.

The order is for the supply of 80 units of the V80-1.8 MW wind turbines including towers and
other services to the Evanston, Wyoming Project - located in South-West Wyoming, near the
city of Evanston. The project will be the largest wind farm in Wyoming and more than
doubles the wind generating capacity in the state.

The order is placed by FPL Energy, LLC, North America’s largest developer, owner and
operator of wind power plants. FPL Energy, LLC is a major U.S. independent power producer
and a subsidiary of FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE: FPL), which is also the parent of Florida Power
& Light Company, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States.

The turbines will be delivered during the second half of 2003 and it is the second large order
to the United States for the Vestas V80-1.8 MW wind turbine.

Additional Vestas turbines for the largest wind project in California

As mentioned in Vestas Wind Systems A/S' Stock Exchange announcement no. 19/2002 of 9
December 2002, Vestas – American Wind Technology, Inc. was awarded a contract from
FPL Energy, LLC, for deliveries to the High Winds project. FPL Energy, LLC has now placed
additional orders for V80-1.8 MW wind turbines including towers and other services to the
High Winds Energy Center project, located in Solano County, California.

The value to Vestas of the additional orders plus the initial order (cf. Stock Exchange
announcement no. 19/2002) is in excess of mEUR 110. The turbines have to be delivered
before the end of 2003.

The above mentioned additional orders do not influence the Vestas Group’s
expectations for year 2003, cf. Stock Exchange announcement no. 09/2003 of 28 May
2003.
