MEDITATION

How to Meditate (think on these

things) On Scripture
“Meditate” in the Hebrew language
means “to speak or mutter.” Therefore,
the Jewish way to meditate is to mumble
out loud the Words of God. When
meditating on Scripture, I do the
following (examples found in the box to
the right):
1) Personalize the scripture.
2) Visualize yourself doing what the
scripture says.
3) Speak the word out loud.
4) Add descriptive wording.

7
Psalm 91:1 [Personalizing]
“He who dwells...” [Unpersonalized]
becomes
“I dwell...” [Personalized]
Psalm 91:1 [Descriptive Wording]
“I dwell, [I live daily, (having legal rights
to dwell as a son, not a visitor or a
bastard, I’m a legitimate son] in the
secret place of the Most High
Meditating on the scripture will enable
the scriptures make better sense to you,
through the help of the Holy Spirit
expanding the scriptures so you will have
better understanding of that scripture, the
word of God is meant to bring
illumination and freedom to our lives
daily, God loves His children and has
made everything available for you and
me to reign in life, sickness and disease
are not of God,

NOTE: DO NOT PERSONALISE

SICKNESS

I've heard people make statements

like these, the doctor said my cancer is
this or that. Understand this, the illness is
8
in your body but it is not naturally part of
your body, use God word and speak to it

(mark 11:23) 23 For verily I say unto

you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and
be thou cast into the sea; and shall
not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he
saith shall come to pass; he shall
have whatsoever he saith).

AN ISSUE OF BLOOD TWELVE YEARS,

26 AND HAD SUFFERED MANY THINGS OF

MANY PHYSICIANS, AND HAD SPENT ALL
THAT SHE HAD, AND WAS NOTHING
BETTERED, BUT RATHER GREW WORSE,

27WHEN SHE HAD HEARD OF JESUS,

CAME IN THE PRESS BEHIND, AND
TOUCHED HIS GARMENT.

28 FOR SHE SAID, IF I MAY TOUCH BUT HIS

CLOTHES, I SHALL BE WHOLE.

29 AND STRAIGHTWAY THE FOUNTAIN OF

HER BLOOD WAS DRIED UP; AND SHE FELT
IN HER BODY THAT SHE WAS HEALED OF
THAT PLAGUE.

30 AND JESUS, IMMEDIATELY KNOWING IN

HIMSELF THAT VIRTUE HAD GONE OUT OF
HIM, TURNED HIM ABOUT IN THE PRESS,
AND SAID, WHO TOUCHED MY CLOTHES?

31 AND HIS DISCIPLES SAID UNTO HIM,

32
THOU SEEST THE MULTITUDE THRONGING
THEE, AND SAYEST THOU, WHO TOUCHED
ME?

32 AND HE LOOKED ROUND ABOUT TO SEE

HER THAT HAD DONE THIS THING.

33 BUT THE WOMAN FEARING AND

TREMBLING, KNOWING WHAT WAS DONE

him, and said unto her, Woman,
thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her:
33
and immediately she was made
straight, and glorified God. 16 And
ought not this woman, being a
daughter of Abraham, whom Satan
hath bound, lo, these eighteen
years, be loosed from this bond on
the sabbath day?

belly for meats: but God shall
destroy both it and them. Now the
body is not for fornication, but for
the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
15 Know ye not that your bodies
are the members of Christ? shall I
then take the members of Christ,
and make them the members of an
harlot? God forbid.

37
19 What? know ye not that your
body is the temple of the Holy

price: therefore glorify God in your
body, and in your spirit, which are
God’s.

are in the world.

I do shall he do also; and greater
works than these shall he do;

name, that will I do, that the Father

will do it.

loved me, and gave himself for me.

can ye, except ye abide in me. I am
the vine, ye are the branches: He
that abideth in me, and I in him, the
same bringeth forth much fruit: for
without me ye can do nothing

44
HOW TO
EFFECTIVELY
PRAY ACCORDING
TO SCRIPTURES

45
KNOWING WHO
YOU ARE

The scriptures reveal who we are,

who we represent and how we are
meant to function in this life.
We are not lawless people, we are
sons
of a particular kingdom(Kingdom of
God), born of God, overcomers of
this world, kings and priests, heirs
with Christ, seated far above
principalities and powers, we are
royalty with the mandate to populate
the kingdom of God on this Earth,
filled with the Holy Spirit .

46
Search the scriptures and know for
yourself that which belongs to you in
accordance to the word of God.
For it is written in the scriptures,
man shall not live by bread alone but
by every word that proceeds from the
mouth of God. So as you feed your
body to function properly in this life,
feed your spirit with God word daily
so that you will grow daily and come
up to stature in CHRIST.

PRAYER
Prayer is simply our communication
with the Lord Jesus, Our Lord was a
man prayer and He always got
results, looking at the scriptures we
would find out that the Lord always

47
got results that marveled people
even his disciples ….

TYPES OF PRAYERS

1. PROPHETIC PRAYER
2. PRAYER OF FAITH
3. INTERSESORY PRAYER
4. PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

PRAYER OF INTERSESION

This kind of prayer is a one in

which we partner with the Holy
Spirit and He carries out His
Ministry through us. Sometimes
we get burdens in our spirit to
48
pray for someone or about a
particular situation and we keep
interceding till we experience
freedom in our spirits. It is our
priestly responsibility to
intercede for others, and it is
really a blessing to function in
this office.

PROPTHETIC PRAYER

Prophetic prayer is the prayer

in which we speak the mind of
God (will and purpose) by the
inspiration
of the Holy Spirit.

Jonah prayed a prophetic

prayer in the womb of the fish
(Jonah 2:7-8) don’t observe
lying vanities, don’t be moved
by the unpleasant
49
circumstances, don’t observe
the negative symptoms around
you, Jonah didn’t say God I
know you will deliver me but
rather he said YOU
DELIVERED ME. IN
PROPHETIC
PRAYER YOU SPEAK THE
PAST TENSE OF GODS
WORD
Jonah knew God calls things
that a not as though they were
(Rom 4:17)

PRAYER OF FAITH

According to the book of

Hebrews 11:1 faith is the
substance of things hoped for
and evidence of things not
seen. It is important that you
don’t doubt in your heart after
you pray. Doubt makes us
50
prayer for the same thing over
and over again. In prayer of
faith repetitiveness isn’t allow
compared to prayer of
intersession. It is more like
sowing a seed and going back
to dig the ground checking on it,
the seed will never grow.
2 cor 10:3-5 tells us how to deal
with doubt in our minds, by
using Gods word just as Jesus
did during his temptation and by
our divine utterance speaking in
tongues.
Building up your most holy faith
praying in the Holy Ghost.
Your very utterance as a child
of God are not mere word, they
are inspired truth based on
God’s word.

51
Prayer of Salvation

John 3:16
For God so loved the world
that He gave his only begotten
son, that whoever believes will
not perish but have everlasting
life

God loves you so much and he is

more concerned about you than
you think, God can set you free if
you believe in your heart and
confess Jesus with your mouth.
Say this pray with me (Lord Jesus I
believe in my heart that you died
for me and went through all those
painful things for me, resurrected
just to save me, I confess my sins
to you and I ask you to be my Lord
and savior, write my name in the
book of life in Jesus name Amen.)

!!!!Glory you are born again!!!!
