 About Us
Walksum Auto Engineers Pvt Ltd. Was registered in 2010 at a small scale
with a registered office at Lal kuan ,Ghaziabad and over years successfully
running a plant at M. G. Road ,Industrial Area,Hapur. We are
manufacturers of castor wheels, trolley wheels . providing products which
are widely accepted for their features like durability, fine finish & easy
installation.
We are one of the leading manufacturers of wheels and castors fixed to various
types of trolleys & material handling equipment which are used in factories,
warehouses, godowns ,stores and so on. We are manufacturing wide variety of
castor wheels for over 10 years. Spread over 6,000 sq. ft. Area, the factory has all
the facilities to conceive, design & manufacture a wide range of wheels & castors
to suit almost every application. Technical information & specifications for various
wheels & castors has been given in the catalogue.
 Our Perception
Replacement cost of wheel & castor is not just the cost of wheel or castor. It
also includes cost of inconvenience, downtime of equipment, manpower
lost etc. and these costs are much more than the actual cost of wheel or
castor. This point is foremost in our mind. Therefore our designs are robust for
long lasting service of our products. We are proud that 90% of our orders are

 HISTORY
Walksum Auto Engineers Pvt. Ltd. started its journey in Caster &
Trolley Wheel in 2010 on the foot step of Mr.Rajesh Kumar Garg.
Mr. Garg started its trading firm which worked on assembling of
Caster & Trolley Wheels. After years of expertise in assembling of
Caster & Trolley Wheel, we started our manufacturing unit in Delhi,
NCR by the name of Walksum Auto Engineers Pvt. Ltd.(WAEPL).
Also, the company was joined by Mr. Nishant Garg, son of
Mr. Rajesh Kumar Garg in 2015. From Year 2016 to present our
premium brand Walksum captured the market with its quality and
reliability. Walksum Caster Wheel has become a prominent Brand
on National Level and we are meeting the customer’s growing
demands on regular basis.

All dies & punches, moulds,

are manufactured in-house in
our own tool room having
CNC wire cutting machine,
vertical milling ,lathe machine,
surface grinder, pencil grinder,
Drilling machine.
We are focusing on the tools
which give good quality
production and require lesser
maintenance.

• POLYEURETHANE ( PU )
WHEELS:
Wheels : ( Range 50 to 200 mm ):

These Wheels consist of PU

tread on plastic core .
Bonding between PU and core
is of mechanical in nature.
Easy-rolling wheels cushion
loads, protect floors and offer
superior chemical resistance.
Hardness of PU tread is 98 Shore

Polypropylene Co Polymers (PPCP)Wheels:
(Range 50 to 200 mm):

It is a injection on moulded solid white machined Wheel. These

wheels have high load carrying capacities .These are cost
effective wheels for trolleys which has less movement.
They Resists absorption and withstands most chemicals and
solvents.
• Cast Iron ( CI ) Wheels:
(Range 75mm to 250 mm):
These are bare cast wheels made from good quality graded casting.

• Cast PU Wheels:

It is Cast PU Wheel in which Polymerization of polyol is done into PU in

the moulds. Bonding between CI & Cast PU is of chemical & mechanical both in nature .
It is a High Performance wheels with low limitation.
Hardness Pu is 93+-3 shore A.

• Rubber Bonded Wheels:

It is a rubber bonded wheel with CI for bonding between rubber
And CI core is of chemical in nature .
These are perfect wheels for heavy duty load and long life.

 About WAPL Series
These are Pressed steel casters light type . These caster are fitted with
special hollow rivet .These designs allows accommodating extra number
of balls in the same area. WAPL Series consist of pressed steel casters
capable for Light duty .

WAPM SERIES
 About WAPM series

Medium duty zinc plated pressed steel castor of double ball race swivel
head secured with thick rivet & covered with nylon dust seal. Two sealed ball
bearings are used in the wheel in order to give forceless free movement to
castor .Pillar and brake type castors are also available which are suitable for
hotel and hospital furniture.

 About WAFA Series

Medium duty zinc plated fabricated castor made from thick plate which
consists of double Ball race ways at the swivel head secured with rivet .
The swivel and wheel lock Is simplified under one lever as ON/OFF
breaking system for easy operation .

WAFO SERIES
 About WAFO Series
This is heavy duty forged steel castor . Steel balls are accommodated
between two ball races. The top forged swivel base plate is interlocked
by these steel balls with the inner ring part of the cup which serves both
as thrust and taper bearings. A nylon ring seal is provided for dust
protection. Grease nipple is also provided at the cup portion which is
used for self lubrication purpose.

Selection criteria :

1. Determine your Load Capacity :

The load capacity is determined by the formula below,
safety factor and unevenness.

Formula :

T = Required load capacity

of one wheel or caster
E = Deadweight of the transport unit
Z = Maximum additional load
n = number of wheels or casters used
S = safety factor
2. Floor Surface :

The nature and condition of the ground and the presence of any
obstacles will have an influence on choosing the right wheel.
They are also important factors affecting the performance of the
moving equipment as well as the efficiency and the duration of
the wheels and castors. Special attention is required for cases
involving uneven floors or where obstacles are present. In this
case, the impact of the wheel against an obstacle generates
advancement resistance whose magnitude depends on the
elasticity of the rolling strip material. In fact, the energy absorbed
during an impact is greater in a wheel with an elastic rolling strip
than in a rigid wheel, thus partially cancelling the braking effects
caused by the obstacle.
For floors that are uneven or on which obstacles are present, with load
capacity being equal, a wheel with a greater diameter should be chosen in
order to overcome the obstacle.
Noise level and life of wheel depend upon roughness of the surface on which
wheels roll. Rubber, PU wheels & light duty castors may be avoided on rough
surface if slightly higher noise level is permitted. It is advisable to use UHMW-
PE or CI wheels & medium duty or heavy duty castors on rough surfaces
depending upon load.
 Rubber, PU or PP wheels and light duty castors may be used on
smooth surface and light loads.
Floor type :

• Suitable covering Tiles -Polyurethane or rubber

• Cement-resin Polyurethane or rubber
• Concrete- PP

The main types of flooring are :- tiles ;- asphalt ;- cement-resin ;-

not paved floor ;- expanded metal floor ;- floor with chips,
obstacles etc.
