    One of the factors that can cause problems and issues in studying the scriptures is due

    to a historical barrier. Applying 21st logic to how life was in 700 BC is difficult. In my

    opinion, it makes the modern readers have a hard time understanding the contents.

    Despite the morals and lessons, the events that happened in the scriptures makes it hard

    for contemporary readers to understand.
