The Ethos of legal profession

- The disposition of the lawyers, the culture lawyers create in the exercise of their profession and
in the evolution of their traditions, the adoption and acceptance of precepts of conduct.

- It is the lawyer’s obligation to be ethical that obligates him to promote justice at all times – and
it is a lawyer’s espousal of the cause of justice that links the specialized concern with the law to
the ideal (not idealized) quality of social and individual human living.

- “No master but the law, No guidance but conscience, No goal but justice”
