Place –
Place is a key component of the marketing mix for any product or service. It is
the location where people buy or first observe the product. Domino's operates
on a franchise model, with the business owning 97% of the franchises. Malls,
internet services, and Domino's franchise are all examples of places in this
case. It is the world's largest pizza company, with 17000 locations. It began
with SMS in 2007, and consumers could track their orders in 2009. As of 2018,
Dominos had over 17000 stores, 5600 in the United States, 1500 in India, and
around 1200 in the United Kingdom. It has locations in around 83 countries
and 5700 cities worldwide. It has maintained a direct channel with its customer
base. It has its own websites and apps for pizza delivery, and around 95% of
transactions take place online. Customers can either call or send SMS for pizza
delivery at the desired location whether it be at a party, workspace, or home
as shown in the advertisement. They also have a thirty minutes policy, if the
order does not reach the customer in the allotted thirty minutes, then the
customer does not have to pay for it. The delivery agents are the real ones
who are really behind the scenes to make this algorithm work, the detail of
every route is decided beforehand so that minimum time is taken
