1. Introduction
STAYALERT is an application that is meant to run on Android devices mainly smartphones. The
main functions and features of the application are –
i. The first time a user opens the app on his device, he must login by entering an email and
password. He then remains logged into the application until he explicitly logs out.
ii. If the user does not already have an account, he can create one on the login page.
iii. If the user cannot remember his password, he can choose the forgot password option. A
new password is created for the user, and an email with the new password is sent to the
registered email address.
iv. After logging in, the user is taken to the application's main screen. This is the screen that
appears when the user launches the application. The user can send text messages,
pictures, and short videos to the contacts they have saved by pressing the "add" button.
v. On the main screen, the user can also see his current location. He would be aware of his
precise location and could refer to it if he dialed MDRRMO-Paracale. This location is
also included in text messages, pictures, and videos.
vi. Within the app, the user can set the contact of MDRRMO-Paracale to send text messages,
pictures, and videos. He can also specify which text messages, photos, and videos will be
sent.
The option to begin location tracking can be enabled by the user. If this option is chosen,
the application retrieves the device's location (about every 15 minutes) and stores it in an
external database.
vii. If the user was granted permission to track his location, he could later see the various
locations he had visited during a specific time interval on a specific day. He would be
shown a map with these locations on it. By clicking on the marker for that location, the
user can see the address and the time he was there.

Purpose
The Android app's purpose is to allow users to send notifications in the event of an emergency or
a panic situation. With the press of a single button, users can send multiple text messages,
pictures, and videos. Along with the content, the text messages, pictures, and videos sent include
the user's last known location. This is extremely useful in tracking down the person's
whereabouts.

Related Documents
This paper proposes the development of a mobile application for the Philippine National Police
Emergency Hotline 911. Attempts to reduce responder response time by minimizing data
collection steps (such as personal information) performed during the call. This is done by user
registration before using the mobile app.
User data is now displayed in the dispatcher when help is requested. In addition, the smartphone's
geolocation capabilities are integrated into the application, allowing the dispatcher to instantly
locate the caller's whereabouts.
ISO 9126 was used to evaluate the proposed system, resulting in strong acceptance by the
evaluators. Side-by-side implementation of the proposed i911 mobile phone and existing 911
calling applications is recommended.
