HOW TO COMPOSE MULTIMODAL TEXT?
1. Apply Visual Concepts
These basic elements are:
a. Space. This gives you an idea of how to balance text and images in
your output. Considering the space would allow you to identify the
position of text and images for emphasis.

b. Color. Use color combinations that are not invasive to the viewers or
readers. Use it to emphasize specific meaning and highlight ideas.

c. Shapes. Look for shapes that would be relevant and make sense so it
becomes an authentic part of the text.

convey to the reader the aim of the text.
Does it inform, entertain, or persuade?

3. Identify your audience

Considering the type of audience, you are
producing the text for, gives an idea of
what specific language you will use, for
example, children are more attracted to
bigger fonts and playful shapes so the
plain text should be avoided.
