“HOW’S YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE?

Joseph: Good morning to all. We are here right now to discuss our spiritual life. However, this
morning, we have a special guest who will share some life wisdom with us: Jeryll Joyce G.
Barba.

Hello, Jeryll. We appreciate you being a guest on our show. It's a pleasure to have you. I have
three questions for you right now; they aren't overly personal, but they pertain to your life, so I
suppose they are somewhat private for you. The initial query is:

1.) What’s the best thing going on in your life right now?

Jeryll: The best thing that is going on in my life is that I value my peace of mind more than
anything else. Being able to decide what to do and when to do it on each of the precious days
that have been entrusted to me is incredibly reassuring. I have the time to cherish and help all the
things that are important to me. I make decisions that I believe are significant in my life and am
fully responsible for them. The thing that matters most to me is avoiding bad people and
situations.

Joseph: I appreciate you saying that, Jeryll. You see, given our age and the issues and people
around us, it's difficult for us to feel happy. Now let's turn to our second query:

2.) What’s been the thing you lean on when life gets hard?

Jeryll: The best and most efficient way to cope with problems is through prayer. It is really
reassuring to simply talk to God and express our feelings to him. These days, it is really
challenging to discuss our concerns with others because not everyone can offer assistance and
could even criticize us for doing so.

Joseph: Actually, I can relate to you. The most effective action we can take when things are
difficult is to pray. Prayers can benefit us, even though it's difficult for others to understand,
particularly when we are going through difficult times in life. So now for our final query:
3.) What is one thing you would like to be remembered for?

Jeryll: I want to be known for having the fortitude to embrace and overcome every obstacle that
God has placed in my path. While it wasn't simple, it was incredibly gratifying to solve such
issues on your own. I also came to understand that God purposefully put those challenges in my
path because He knew I could conquer them and that doing so would help me become resilient
enough to face the challenges God intended for me to face.

I want to convey my respect for your capacity to overcome the obstacles life has presented to
you after hearing your thoughts and stories. When things become difficult, it is quite difficult to
continue. You are so courageous to face each struggle you face in life, and I sincerely hope that
one day you may discover the true happiness you so richly deserve and the bravery to face the
difficulties God intends for you to have.

Jeryll, once more, thank you for agreeing to be our guest for this segment. You inspire me so
much. I hope our discussion this morning has taught us something. Never forget that God gave
you the dilemma because He is certain you can solve it, no matter how challenging it may be. I
appreciate you keeping an eye on everything. Have a wonderful day and may God bless you all.
