ASSESSMENT

1. He was known as one of the main culprits of Spain. He was also executed publicly that’s why his
memory remained in most people.
2. To be honest, I think most of Filipinos today don’t think the same sense of nationalism compared to
way back then. People these days have been conveniently satisfied with each of their own lives. As
someone who is living this 2021, I think none of us/them really have the idea of fighting for our own
rights against colonials. Without this, the feeling of nationalism lacks and therefore not the same
way back.

POST-TEST

1. This aims to protect each nation and its people’s land against oppressors. This is important as this
maintains the value which each of us nations share.
2. This instills fear among people in which human rights violations are widely executed. This ruins a
nation’s freedom to live on its own.
3. Patronizing own culture, language and products should be encouraged as this improves the
country’s economic and social stand. We can focus on exportations and not importations. In this
way, more local businesses will circulate and more jobs for the Filipinos will be available.
