N: Hi Ronaldo! I haven’t seen you for so long! How are you? What have you done?
R: Oh, Nicole good to see you! I’m fine, I arrived to the city yesterday.
N: Really? Where did you go?
R: I went to Cancun!
N: Cool! What did you do and how long did you stay?
R: I went for a week, I visited places like Xcaret and swam in its river.
N: I heard that the river is very clear, is it true?
R: Not at all, the river it was a bit dirty because of the seaweed, you shouldn’t visit
Cancun this season.
N: Oh, good to know! I also went to Cancun, but I went a month ago, the beach was
full of seaweed, it was horrible! I felt very sad because I wanted to take photos
esthetics in the sea.
R: It sound awful, but what did you do if you couldn’t take photos? Did you enjoy
your trip?
N: Well, I spent my time at the pool and eating, I also read a book while sunbathing.
I pretty much enjoyed my trip, I hope that if I go again there won´t be seaweed. Did
you go anywhere else besides Cancun?
R: I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your vacation. Well, I stayed in Playa del Carmen by
myself for two days, have you ever tried to stay in another state by yourself? If you
haven’t you definitely should.
N: No, my parents wouldn’t allow me to travel alone at least not yet, but maybe in a
few years. Did you stay in a hotel while you were in Playa del Carmen?
R: No, I rented an apartment far from the touristic zone because I wanted to know
more about the local people … and it was cheaper.
N: Interesting! Did you take a map, or did you go on a tour?
R: No, I went sightseeing by myself and I got lost and almost lose my flight.
N: What? How unfortunate! How did you get to the airport? Did you take a taxi?
R. Yes, I didn’t want it because it was too expensive, but I had to.
N: Bummer. I remember that my family and I missed a flight because the airplane
took a long time to arrive to the next airport, that time we were going to Orlando more
specifically Disneyworld. I don’t know if you know but in the airport of Orlando you
have to take a subway to get to a gate. It was really cool!
R. No, I didn’t know that it sounds fancy but slow, because at the end you lost your
flight. And what did you do then?
N. We couldn’t do much we ran as fast as we could and we took the next flight but
when we arrived to Orlando and we had to take our suitcases we realized that my
grandmas suitcase wasn’t there! We spoke to the people of the airport and sadly it
was already a lost suitcase. My grandma had to buy clothes and a pair of sandals.
R: That’s the worst way to start a vacation.
N: Yes, it was but when we arrived at the hotel it was magical, I felt very happy and
we visited the parks I was in awe, my favorite characters were alive, and I could hug
them.
R: You’re right even if the start of your vacation wasn’t good spending time with your
family and do all those things you like, always makes it all better.
N: Do you have any recommendations for my next trip?
R. Well I know you don’t like to do exercise, but you should try swimming in the sea
or jog on the beach, it can be very fun and good for your health, oh and you have to
use sunscreen, don’t forget that.
N: Suuure all for the “healthy life esthetic “I’ll let you know if I do it.
R: I knew you’ll answer like that.
