REPORT ON FUND-RAISING DAY

Introduction
The aim of this report is to describe the fund-raising day and present further
recommendations for what to do the next year.

Brief description
This year my team and I held the first annual fund-raising day. We put together
various ways to attract people in donating to our organization. The Marketing
Department managed, with the help of the HR Department, to implement a
programme that brought us a significant amount of capital.

Specifics
The sum raised came from a variety of activities which consisted of:
 40% house-to-house collection
 30% street collection
 20% jumble sale
 10% other miscellaneous activities
All these brought us the amount of £150.000. The sum will contribute to the soon-to-
be launched projects. To be mentioned that all expenses have been taken care of.

Further recommendations
The initiative definitely represents a success for the organization and it may be
labeled as employee-beneficial as well since the overall process was amusing and
pleasant. However, some changes could be made, especially on the marketing side
of things. We focused a lot on observing the flaws of our system and managed to
bring innovations and reinforcements to it. The Marketing Department already began
research for a new social-media strategy that will be applied next year along other
measures.
