    RESEARCH PAPER PROPOSAL FOR APPROVAL

    Topic: Belief and Practice of Divine Encounter Through Dreams and Visions in the Asian
    context.
    Purpose / Aim: This essay will explore the right belief and practice when a spiritual Christian
    has a divine encounter through dreams and visions biblically.
    Research question: What is the right belief and practice when a spiritual Christian has a
    divine encounter through dreams and visions according to the bible?
    Rationale: There are no clear acceptable biblical guidelines on how spiritual Christians
    should believe and practice when they have divine encounters through dreams and visions.
    Many common believers do not know what to do when they have such a divine encounter.
    Some might ignore it, and some might employ the wrong belief and practice which might
    lead them away from God’s intended purpose.
    Working Thesis Statement: The biblical right belief and practice of divine encounter through
    dreams and visions may be important to the spiritual growth of believers or it may be
    explored as a tool for evangelism for those non-believers.
