D E F I N ITION OF BU SI N ESS U SE
• Unlike many other pattern companies, we allow our patterns to be used for small-scale business use, but only to
make a finished product from the patterns.

• Small-scale business use in this context is defined as a retail business selling finished swimwear products, with
2 or fewer employees/owners, and in which manufacturing is done either entirely or majority in-house. If you do
not fit in to this definition, you may only use our products for personal use.
• If your business outsources some manufacturing but not all, understand that these patterns cannot under any
circumstances be shared with third-party manufacturers in any form, regardless of the size of the manufacturer.
These are strictly for your use and your use only.

ELASTIC

• 6mm swimwear elastic

We recommend using rubber swimwear elastic, which can be purchased in the “Sewing Supplies”

elastic? etc...) we recommend watching our elastic series on YouTube to get all your questions
answered!

FABRIC

• 1/2 meter swimwear fabric

Use a swimwear fabric with 152cm width, 4-way stretch, and around a 75% stretch percentage.
This style is intended to be made with two layers of swimwear fabric. If you choose to use regular
swimwear lining, you may need to adjust the pattern for the best fit.

HOW TO PRINT
2CM

Print on standard A4 paper, making sure to select “Do not scale” or keep the scale
at 100% so that the dimensions are not distorted. Make sure “fit to page” and/or “fit TEST
2CM
to printable area” are NOT selected. If you have problems printing, email us! SQUARE
hello@edgewaterave.com

TIP: The borders of the pattern pages measure 19.5cm x

28cm and can also be used to check scaling!

ASSEMBLING THE PATTERN

1. Print the pages you need, making sure to follow printing instructions in the “How to Print”
section of this PDF.

2. Once printed, organize your pages by piece number. This will group together the pieces that
need to be taped together. For cheeky coverage, you will need Pieces 1, 2 & 3. For full coverage,
you will need Pieces 1, 4 & 5.

3. Tape together each of the pages by matching up the letters on the pattern itself. Match A with
A, B with B, etc...

4. Once your pattern is assembled, cut out your preferred size, then use your pattern to cut your
fabric.
