The 16 personalities quiz the class took was something I had done before, but never really went

into
depth when looking at the results. Originally hearing Mrs. Lacroix say that we were going to be surprised
by how accurate our results were, I didn’t believe her, yet my results definitely shocked me.

The name of my destination is Campaigner, and my code is ENFP. I found it really interesting to read
all the different sections. When just looking at the headlines, I didn’t necessarily agree with all of them
but after I read them each, I agreed with almost everything it had said. The most accurate one would
have been the Friendship section. “Give too much to friendships.” In my friendships this is always a
concern for me, am I doing too much? I don’t show my love for people using affection, it’s usually
through gift giving or buying things for others, so when I do that a lot I often wonder if it’s overwhelming
for the other person, and if it’s too much. As for Relationships, I’ve never been in a serious one so I can’t
confirm these statements fully, but comparing it to even when I have feelings for someone, these were
also accurate. “Guard against investing too much,” this is always a worry of mine when thinking of
getting into a romantic relationship, especially with people my age. A lot of the time people aren’t
looking for a genuine relationship and connection in my age group, so investing too much into someone
else’s life or thinking it could be more when in reality it may not be is always a thought in my mind. The
last one that really stood out to me was the Workplace Habits. “Establish real connections with
coworkers” really stood out to me because I have really good relationships with all of my coworkers. All
of my coworkers also have a really close relationship with each other. Having these connections with
everyone can make it a lot easier to work when I’m comfortable around everyone, but also everyone is
comfortable around each other. Working is something I’m going to have to do for the rest of my life so
it’s refreshing to be able to connect with the people I’m working with. Overall, I agree that this test can
be an accurate depiction of one’s personality if actually done honestly and correctly.

As far as career plans go, I don’t particularly have one to connect my traits and skills to. Some careers
I’ve thought about would be teaching, flight attendant, therapist, or anything on the arts side really.
Keeping these careers in mind, my traits and skills do connect. One of my strengths that connects the
most would be “no one is unimportant, can pick up on subtle changes in mood.” I pick up on mood
changes and differences in behaviour very quickly, which I think would benefit me in the therapy field,
but also just in general. “Caring listeners, have positive enjoyable conversations” would also be
beneficial as a therapist, it’s important to be able to have vulnerable conversations but also make it a
safe space so that others can share those stories, knowing that someone actually cares about what
you’re saying is always helpful to get one to open up and be vulnerable. “Good Natured” talks about
how all my strengths come together, all of my strengths have connections to being social, and social
interactions, which I think is also why I am more interested in jobs where one needs to be more social.
As far as weaknesses, they also connect. “Having evolving interests, may find it challenging to maintain
discipline and focus long term,” I often don’t just have one thing I’m thinking about or wanting to do, so
it does get difficult to stay focused on one main thing, which is why my current job is nice, I’m always
occupied doing a bunch of different things, where as with a job like a therapist, it’s not really like that.
Another weakness is being disorganized, but in almost all jobs, one needs some sort of organization in
place, so it would definitely be a learning opportunity in a job like therapy to have to figure out how to
stay organized in an easy enough way for me to maintain. In the end, even though I don’t have a set
career plan, I can still envision the ways that my skills and traits connect to the careers I’m interested in.
