SALARY Your basic commencing salary will be RM2,750.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per month. MEDICAL FITNESS This offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory medical report on your fitness for work being established by our Company doctor(s) prior to commencement of your employment with our Company. PROBATIONARY PERIOD. You will be on a probationary period of 3 months from the date of commencement. The company reserves the right to confirm your employment earlier or extend your probation or terminate your services if your performance found to be unsatisfactory. Confirmation at the end of probationary period (or such extension thereto if applicable) shall not be automatic but shall be at the sole discretion of the Company. WORKING HOURS ‘The work days for shift employee are on rotation shifts 6 day-work and 2 day-off and the Company's working hours, subject to change at any time by the management are: Morning : 7:00am. to_3:00 p.m. Afternoon 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Night 5 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 am. However, due to your position and the nature of your work, you will be required to work beyond your normal working hours as and when required. ANNUAL LEAVE ‘You shall be entitled to an initial annual leave of 14 working days per annum, first year leave entitlement shall be calculated based on pro-rate basis. Each application must be supported by written certificate from the relevant Doctor. ‘Wherever hospitalization is necessary, you are entitled to 60 days paid hospitalized sick leave per calendar year provided that any non-hospitalised sick leave (mentioned in the above paragraph) will be deducted from the 60 days, MEDICAL ‘The Company shall provide free non-hospitalised medical treatment and prescribed medicine for illness and injuries from the Company's doctor(s). Any hospitalisation, surgery and specialist treatment are subject to the recommendation and referral from the Company's panel doctor(s). All medical expenses and cost of hospitalisation will be bore by the Company subject to the amounts, limits, and terms and conditions as specified in the Company's prevailing medical policy, ‘The Company shall not bear the costs of the following: (i) household medicines, dental or dental surgical expenses. (i) optical or other medical/surgical appliances including spectacles, dentures and similar appliances. (i) any expenses in respect of pregnancy, confinement, childbirth, abortion and miscarriage. (iv) any expenses incurred in respect of illness or disablement arising from attempted suicide, the performance of any unlawful act, participation in any hazardous activities except when endeavouring to save human life, provoke assault or drug abuse. (¥) any pre-existing illness prior to commencement of your employment. In case of emergency, where you need immediate medical treatment form any registered doctor, the reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred is subject to the discretion of the Company, REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAVELLING EXPENDITURE You are eligible for reimbursement of expenses incurred on the Company's business. The reimbursement will be made once a month upon presentation of bills and receipts subject to the prevailing rules of the Company, EMPLOYEE PROVIDENT FUND ‘The Company shall contribute a sum as determined by the prevailing EPF regulation, of your monthly basic. salary and fixed allowances to the EPF, to be held to your credit in accordance with the rules thereof. You are also required by law to contribute to the EPF and your own contribution will be deducted from your monthly salary SOCSO SCHEME If you are required by law to contribute to the SOCSO scheme, your own contribution will be deducted from your monthly salary. PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE ‘The Company will keep you insured under personal accident insurance subject to the terms and conditions of the prevailing Company's policy. DUTIES The Company shall advise you on your job functions. You will be required to carry out such duties and job functions as may be instructed from time to time by the Company and you may be required to be transferred from one department, office or to another within our Group of Companies at the sole discretion of the Company. Employment with the Company is on fulltime basis and you are expressly forbidden to accept alternative or additional employmentidirectorship of any other company unless with written permission from the Company. MENT You shall retire from employment upon attaining the age of 60 (Sixty). ‘TERMINATION 2) During probationary period, your services may be terminated by either party by giving 1 week notice in writing of 4 week basic salary and fixed allowances in lieu thereot. Page 213 b) —_Upon confirmation, your services may be terminated by either party by giving 1 month notice in writing or 1 month basic salary and fixed allowances in lieu thereof. ©) Notwithstanding the above, the Company is entitled to terminate your employment without notice and without payment of salary in lieu, in the event you are found guily of dishonesty, misconduct or any criminal offences, willful failure to obey the lawful instructions of the company, neglect in discharge of duties, becoming a bankrupt or becoming unsound mind, OTHER TERMS AND CONDITION Your other terms and conditions will be as per Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad Group Manufacturing Employee Handbook, the Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad Code of Conduct, including any amendments thereof and such other codes, if any, implemented by the Company and or our Group of Companies from time to time. Violation and or non-compliance with any provisions of the aforesaid code and or handbook shall resutt in disciplinary action, including termination of employment granted herein, ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE COMPANY You are not allowed at any time during the course of employment to engage directly in any other businesses or occupation whatsoever either as principal, agent, employee, broker, proprietor, partner, shareholder or otherwise, or to engage in any activity to the detriment, whether direct or indirect, of the Company's (or Companies) interests, including the interest of any of the associate or subsidiary companies of the Group of Companies. DUTY TO SERVE You shall serve the Company and or such other department, office or its associated or subsidiaries companies within the Group of Companies, in whatever capacity, faithfully, diigently, ethically and to the utmost of your ability and shall comply with all lawful commands and directives of the Company. By reason thereof, in performance of your duties on a full-time basis, you shall not directly or indirectly provide services to or through any person, firm or other entity, unless otherwise authorised by the Company in writing SECRECY/CONFIDENTIALITY ‘You shall maintain absolute secrecy and confidentiality regarding the trade secrets, confidential knowledge or information relating to the business, finance and or affairs of the Company and or the Group of Companies. ‘You shall not at any time during the continuance or within one year after the termination of your employment with this Company except by the direction or with the express approval of the Company, divulge either directly or indirectly to any person or Company, the knowledge or information which you may acquire during the course of or incidental to your employment by the Company concerning the business, finance and or affairs or property of the Company or its associate or subsidiary companies to any unauthorised third parties.
