SUBJECT: - Gas engine turbocharger complete overhauling.

Turbocharger Specialists:-NEPIER NA 357 EL

Job Carried out :-

1. Engine no. 5 A bank turbo dismantle and assemble.Complete cartridge with air diffuser casing
dismantles in MCM workshop.
2. All parts clean and visual inspection carried out for rotor shaft, compressor wheel, diffuser and
nozzle ring.
3. Before dismantling T/C its clearance was recorded and found under limit.
4. Slightly carbon deposit found on compressor wheel.
5. Oil leakage marks was observed on Compressor side.
6. Gas outlet casing found rusted and rotor shaft journal bearing landing area found in burn marks.
7. Mechanical cleaning of air volute casing, diffuser ring, insert and cartridge carried out.
8. Used new spare as thrust bearing, Journal bearing, and thrust bearing with all fasteners replace.
9. Complete cartridge assemble with air volute casing in MCM workshop.
10. Clearance recorded after assembly of T/C found under limit by manual.
11. Diffuser ring, nozzle ring, rotor shaft and compressor wheel found good condition.
