G Description
1.EQUIPMENTS NEEDED
2.PRECAUTIONS
3.TIME NEEDED
4. TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION
1. Preparation
Release the cover (4 screws on the top), remove the main board (4 screws) taking
care of unplugging the display board, unscrew the temperature sensor (2
screws), then plug the display board back in.
2.Electronic diagram
Switch the system off and unplug it from the power supply, reassemble the sensor
and the main board, connect voltmeter – pin on earth and + pin on the 1st pin of
relay 001-51D(see electronic diagram), reconnect the system to power supply and
switch it on, adjust potentiometer P1(see electronic diagram) in order to get the
same value on the display as on the voltmeter.
Switch the system off and unplug it, unplug the voltmeter.
5.Calibration
Connect system to power supply and switch it on, set the selected temperature to
37°C, set the surface probe directly on the heating tray between the two front
supports, close the cover, wait 45 minutes and adjust potentiometer P2(see
electronic scheme) in order to get 40,2°C on surface.
Fill all the microplate wells with 250 µl distilled water, set the PT100 probe in E6,
totally submerged but without touching the well walls/bottom.
Cover the microplate with transparent adhesive film, set it on front left support,
connect the probe to the temperature sensor, after 1h, adjust potentiometer
P2(see electronic diagram) if necessary in order to get 37°C(in this case, adjust
selected temperature).
6.Checking
Remove the adhesive film from the microplate, empty all the wells then refill
them all with 250µl distilled water, cover the microplate with a new transparent
adhesive film, set it on the back right support 1hour, check that the temperature
is 37+ 1°C.
5.CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE
Data printouts are packed with the system and kept in the Service Department.
