Afrijob's vision is to build top teams for fast-growing companies in Africa. Over the last
two years, we have worked with over 200 companies across 12+ African markets. We
have successfully placed hundreds of mid-to-senior level hires to enable our partners to
scale across the continent. Below is our Africa Footprint:

Task 1: Strategic Plan (1 pager/excel whichever you are most comfortable with)
We are currently targeting fast-growing companies in Africa and beyond. As a
Business Development Graduate Trainee, you will be tasked with strategizing and
implementing our ambitious milestone of achieving 500 company partners in 6 months.
Present a 6-month
sales strategy that you would leverage to execute this KPI.

Task 2: Scenario Role Play

Your day-to-day job will be closing new businesses and retaining existing clients.
the following tasks and be as descriptive/comprehensive as possible:

Twiga Foods is recruiting for multiple management roles including Sales


Managers,
Senior Engineers, and Operations Managers for their Kenyan office. You are
scheduled to have a call with Twiga Foods' HR team to sell our Afrijob
recruitment
services. Prepare to pitch Afrijob’s services during your technical interview
call.

You have successfully pitched Afrijob and sent them our recruitment agreement
for
their signature. The HR team shared that they will get back to you before the
end of
the week with the next steps, but they have gone silent. In this scenario draft
an email follow-up message that you would share with the team to secure this
deal with the Twiga
Foods. This is a time to counter all the possible objections they might have.

Our sales process is as follows:

Demo Call
The Business Development Representative (BDR) team focuses on scheduling
calls with relevant decision makers. As the BD Graduate Trainee, you will be in
charge of leading these calls. Most of these calls are Zoom/Google Meets calls.

Contract Sent (i.e. recruitment agreement)


During the sales call, you will be tasked in qualifying a lead by sending them
contracts, if they are the right decision makers and are interested in our
services.

Contract Signed
Once the contract is sent, you will be responsible for following up with the
clients until they sign the contract.

Sales to Talent Transition


Once the contract is signed, you will transition the client to the talent team by
scheduling for a talent call. This is a great opportunity for the talent team to
connect with the HR team to learn more about the ideal candidates as well as
their company culture.
