PROFILE
I am a responsible, empathetic individual seeking a profession working
with children, youth, and families. I'm seeking for a position where I
can use my emotional skills to assist my clients and their families
better their lives and connections with one another.
EXPERIENCE
Kingston General Hospital Worker
2017
Spent over 100 hours volunteering time in many different wards such
as pediatric, geriatric, renal unit, and others. I spent time with
patients, helping them with any basic needs and keeping them
company while they were admitted to the hospital.
Girl Guides of Canada Volunteer
2017-2020
Volunteered over 900 hours with GGC and worked with girls aged 5-
17. I programmed camps with the help of leaders or other youth and
occasionally lead camps for small groups of girls. I have experience
with camping, canoeing, kayaking, and many outdoor activities due to
my years spent with GGC.
Child and Youth Care Placement
2022-2023
Spent a school year volunteering with a private school that work with
children and youth with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, autism, and other mental
divergencies. My typical day focused on relationship building while
teaching the developmentally appropriate curriculum and other life-
skill based classes.
Child Care
2014-Current
Provided childcare to children aged 1-11 years old. Helped families
with children and helped clean in the homes. Learned to make meals,
play with children, and plan activities for them.
