your host for todays special episode. We speak to three Mayor candidates and all of them are
first timer here in Ismael Mathay. Thank you for being here Mayor candidates. Let us all
welcome, Mayor Aiyashii, Mayor Allisa and Mayor Ara!

MAYOR AIYASHII : Hello, everyone! Hello, Ms. Drew! Thank you for inviting us.

HOST ( drew ) : How do you feel today, Mayors? How does it feel to be here today?

MAYOR ALLISA : I am happy to see all of you and thank you for inviting us!

MAYOR ARA : I’m happy because I’m here and to those who supports me, thank you so much!

MAYOR AIYASHII : I’m very grateful you invited us. I appreciate you all!

HOST ( drew ) : We’re glad to know that you guys are happy to be here. Today, we have a few
questions that we have collected from the town people what they want to ask you. Are you guys
ready?

HOST ( drew ) : Alright, our first question is, If we vote for you, what future promises would you
make that will make it worthwhile for us to do so?

MAYOR ALLISA : If you vote for me, I will promise that our city will come up poverty and
corruption.

drew nodded

MAYOR AIYASHII : If you vote for me, I will do everything to develop and make our city well.

drew nodded
HOST ( drew ) : how about you, Mayor Ara?

MAYOR ARA : If you vote for me as a Mayor, I promise that I will do my best as far as I can.
HOST ( drew ) : good answers, Mayors! Let’s proceed to our next question. If you win, what will
your plans be?

MAYOR AIYASHII : I can assure you that if you vote for me, I will deal with mental health issues,
Environment cleanliness, Sexual Harassment, and so on.

MAYOR ALLISA : If I win, I’ll make sure that this city will be at peace and beautiful to see.

MAYOR ARA : If I win, I promise you that I will make our city beautiful. I will develop it and we
will have programs about cleaning our city, feeding programs for underweight children and
many others.

HOST ( drew ) : Thank you for your answers, Mayors! We decided to let the crowd ask you about
their concerns. Good day, ma’am. What worries do you have for Mayor Allisa?

AUDIENCE 1 ( monica ) : If there are people who dislike you and don't want you to be mayor in
this city, what will you do if you've promised that our city will be better if you're in that
position?

MAYOR ALLISA : Thank you for the wonderful question. Well, if there is people who don’t want
me to be a mayor, I will respect that. When it comes to politics, we can’t avoid bashers or haters
because that is how politics works.

HOST ( drew ) : What a brilliant response. How about you, Sir? What concerns do you have for
Mayor Ara?
AUDIENCE 2 ( Elijah ) : Good day, everyone. Good day, Mayors. I want to ask Mayor Ara. What
motivated you to run for mayor of our city, and why?

MAYOR ARA : Thank you for asking. What motivated me, I also experienced poverty and I don’t
want other people suffer from poverty. So, if there’s a thing that I need to do or I can help as far
as I can, I will fight for my people. I run for mayor because I also want to help other people who
live in roadside and so on.

HOST ( drew ) : That’s great! Such a good answer, Mayor Ara. Alright, What about you, ma’am?
What are your concerns?

AUDIENCE 2 ( Monica ) : Good day, Mayors! I want to ask Mayor Aiyashii because just like her, I
am a mother too. What is more difficult job? For being a mother to your children or being a
mother to our city?

MAYOR AIYASHII : Wow! That’s a great question. If managing our city as a mother is tough, how
about taking care of a family? Being my children's mother is more tough. My government
position makes it rare for me to spend time with my family. But I really appreciate how
understanding my kids are. They are aware that we have to help our residents whenever we
can.

lucky and pleased to have you as their mother. We appreciate you visiting our city and
responding to residents' concerns. You three shown why you should be our city's mayor! I
