Vision of the University:

The center of excellence and development in research, instruction, production, and


extension services for progressive leadership transcending global technological, business and
industry driven education.

Mission of the University:

Provides advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, industrial
trade, teacher education, agriculture, fishery, forestry, engineering, aeronautics and land-based
programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology and other relevant fields
of study. It shall undertake research, production and extension services and provide progressive
leadership across the areas of specialization for global empowerment.

Goal of the College:

1. Provide Complementation and continuity of the undergraduate programs.


2. Cater of the need of the technology and oriented leaders who are and would be
occupying managerial positions in higher, educational institutions, technical-
vocational institutions, industry, agriculture, fishery and related sectors;
3. Contribute to the attainment of regional and national goals through research-based
technologies towards quality life.
4. Accelerate of high level professionalism and globally competitive technology culture.

Objectives of the Program:

Step up participation of educational leaders in value and institution building through


relevant research, scholarly endeavors and production of authentic educational services.

Description of the Course

The course deals with social processes and interaction patterns in educational
organization, social class and power, social relation within the school, formal and non-formal
groups and their formation, structural functioning, school culture and role of educators, parents
and students in development.
General objectives:

1. Understand the mission/vision of the CTU System and the Graduate


School;
2. Discuss and appreciate the social processes and interaction patterns
in educational organization;
3. Discuss the social class and power, social relation within the school,
formal and non-formal groups, and their formulation and structural
functioning;
4. Gain insights of the school culture; and
5. Raise the level of awareness to the role of educators, parents and
students in development.
