Once upon a time there lived a young girl in a village named

Alex. Alex spent her days walking on the street and going door to
door to sell puto maya and suman to pay for her school.
One day, as she went her way home she started feeling low and
weak. She was hungry so she decided to ask for food. Knock…
knock..knock…
“Good morning, can I ask some food to eat? I am so hungry and
I am feeling so weak. Please give me some food”, said Alex. “No!...
We have no foods for you! Go away you’re so dirty… You could be a
carrier of germs and viruses!” shouted the woman in front of her.
Poor Alex turn back her way and went to another door, but she
was again rejected. Her favor still denied. But she did not stop to find
that Good Samaritan who can give her the food she needed. Until
she reached the door of a young girl. She asked for a glass of water,
and upon seeing her situation, the young girl came back with a glass
of water and a food tray full of foods.
Without any hesitation, Alex eat immediately and the water in
the glass “Thank you… How much do I pay for the foods?” she asked
but the girl refused the payment.
Years went by, Alex worked hard to achieve her dreams in life.
She did not give up no matter what obstacles she faced. Problems
and obstacles paid off, she finished her education and become a
medical doctor. The young girl on the other hand, grown into a
woman and become sickly. She come and go to the hospital. She
went from one Doctor to another but no one was able to cure her.
Until one day, she landed to the best Doctor in town.
The Doctor recognizes the woman and did her very best to help
her. She spent days, weeks and months of treating her until the girl
was finally cured.
The woman was very happy then, but despite of her happiness
she was afraid that she couldn’t afford to pay the bill. “Thank you so
much Doc, but I will still be looking money for the payment here at
the hospital” said the young girl. But when the hospital bill was
handed to her, it says “paid in full with a Tray full of foods and a glass
of water”. There, the eyes of the woman and the Doctor met and
tears were flowing. The woman remembered that day when they
met and was very thankful for what she did.

Moral of the Story: “ Being kind is important as it is always be


rewarded.”
"It is vital to be kind, because it is always rewarded."
