"Children help the elderly" Club - Hau Giang, Vietnam | Founder & President Sep 2014 - Present
Led 315 members and called for donations of 492 million VND.
Had main responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring club activities:
1. Annual projects: Visited and assisted over 1000 old people having difficult circumstances.
2. Broadening projects:
- "Light Up Knowledge": 55 scholarships, 6130 notebooks, hundreds of textbooks, health insurance
cards, bicycles, and thousands of gifts were given to disadvantaged and disabled students.
- "Tet" project contributed to encouraging the young generation to follow the tradition of making "Banh
tet": Club's members made 400 cylindrical sticky rice cakes and gave them to needy families.
- "Green hero": Planted 700 trees along Hau Giang Province's streets.
3. Fundraising project: Run a booth at the trade fair, which yielded 56 million VND for the club's fund.
Developed plans to appeal to a broad spectrum of sponsors for the club (directly and through social media).
Represented the club in (1) directly communicating with sponsors and organizations that fit the vision and
purpose of each club's project, and (2) attending interviews and congresses.
Received merits from Vietnam Prime Minister, Central Committee of Vietnam Youth Federation, Central
Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and local government.
