DiverContact® P16 can be used as an antimicrobial agent in the following:
• Process water or ice used for washing, rinsing, storing, or cooling whole or cut meat, including
carcasses, parts, trim and organs.
• Process water, ice or brine used for washing, rinsing, storing, or cooling of processed and pre-
formed meat and poultry products.
• Process water applied as a spray, wash, rinse, dip, chiller water, low temperature (e.g. less than
40° F/4° C) immersion baths, or scald water for poultry carcasses, parts and organs.
• Process water that contacts fruits and vegetables in a food processing facility.
• Process Water or ice used to commercially prepare fish and seafood.
Use Instructions
DiverContact® P16 can be used in process water or ice at up to 1 fluid oz. per 7 U.S. gallons water
(200 ppm POAA) on whole or cut meat, including carcasses, parts, trim and organs.
DiverContact® P16 can be used in process water on whole or cut poultry at up to 9.65 oz. per 7
U.S. gallons water (2000 ppmPOAA).
DiverContact® P16 can be used in process water, ice or brine on processed and pre-formed meat
and poultry products. Use up to 1 fluid oz. per 7 U.S. gallons water (200 ppm POAA).
DiverContact® P16 can be used in process water or ice used to commercially prepare fish and
seafood. Use up to 1 fluid oz. per 7 U.S. gallons water (200 ppm POAA).
DiverContact® P16 can be used in process water that contacts fruits and vegetables in a food
processing facility. Use up to 0.4 fluid oz. per 7 gallons water (80 ppmPOAA).
Adjust levels as necessary to maintain adequate microbial control.
Allowed for use in or on processed products labeled as organic in accordance with 7 CFR
§205.605.
AVOID CONTAMINATION OF FOOD DURING USE OR STORAGE OF CONCENTRATE.

Note: DiverContact® P16 is not for use to sanitize hard food contact surfaces such as tanks, lines, food processing equipment,or to
treat food packaging.
Testing Procedure
1. Flush out the sample vial several times with water or the solution to be tested.
2. Add 10 ml of solution to the sample vial.
3. Add 10 drops of 50% Sulfuric acid and switl to mix.
4. Add 1 drops of 10% Potassium iodide and switl to mix.
5. Add 5 drops of starch indicator and switl to mix. Sample should turn blue-black.
6. Titrate with 0.01 N Sodium thiosulfate to a clear endpoint. Record the number of drops.

Product compatibility
It is extremely important to keep all metals away from DiverContact® P16 concentrate. DiverContact® P16 contains hydrogen peroxide and like all
peroxides is very sensitive to metal contamination. This product is for use on stainless steel, glass, tile, Buna-N and neoprene when used as
directed. Use solutions of this product will react with copper, brass or other soft metals and may lead to darkening over a period oftime.
