functional in air gapped environment.
• Ministry of ICT & National Guidance have been mandated for creation
of Data Centre for the Government of Uganda to facilitate Data Storage
and Data Security and to bring it on par with global standards to meet
current & future demands.
• Based on the primary and secondary research, BCS and Government of
Uganda intend to join hands and provide turnkey for the Data Centre
Project in Uganda.
Up to 12 years (Including 2 – 2.5 years of availability period)
To be repaid in equal semi-annual instalments after grace period.
• Ministry of Finance will be the Borrower / Sovereign Guarantee of
the Republic of Uganda OR
• Irrevocable & Unconditional Guarantee from Ministry of Finance,
Republic of Uganda to Lender in case borrower is Ministry of ICT
& National Guidance.
• Budgetary Allocation from MOF.
