• SG on Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities and Communities (SC&C)

• Sesuai undangan SG20:

 Meeting will be held on Jan 30th to Feb 10th 2023 at ITU Headquarters, Geneva.
 The meeting will open at 0930 hours on the first day, and participant registration will
begin at 0830 hours at the Montbrillant building entrance.
 Physical Meeting with Remote Participation  Decision will be taken by those
physically present in Plenary Meeting in Geneva
 Start to look into preparations for the World Telecommunication Standardization
Assembly (WTSA-24).

Saat ini, terdapat 7 (tujuh) Study Questions yang dikaji dalam ITU-T SG 20 yaitu :

1. Q1/20 (WP1/20) Interoperability of IoT and SC&C Application and Services

2. Q2/20 (WP1/20) Requirements, capabilities and architectural frameworks across verticals
enhanced by emerging digital technologies
3. Q3/20 (WP1/20) IoT and SC&C architectures, protocols and QoS/QoE
4. Q4/20 (WP1/20) Data analytics, sharing, processing and management, including big data
aspects, of IoT and SC&C
5. Q5/20 (WP1/20) Study of emerging digital technologies, terminology and definitions

Relasi dengan ITU-D SG2 Study
Question Q1/2
• Pada ITU-D SG2 (Digital Transformation), Study Question Q1/2 adalah mengenai
Sustainable Smart Cities and Communities (SC&C).
• Pertemuan Pertama ITU-D SG2 dilaksanakan pada 5 – 9 December 2022
• Perbedaan pembahasan mengenai SC&C pada ITU-T SG20 dan ITU-D SG2 adalah :
• ITU-T SG20 berperan pada penciptaan suatu tolok ukur dalam pemanfaatan IoT pada
SC&C, baik itu dalam bentuk persyaratan teknis, kerangka kerja, dsb.
• ITU-D SG2 berperan untuk pengembangan ekosistem pendorong pertumbuhan SC&C
yang berkelanjutan, bukan hanya dari sisi teknis.
Hal ini terlihat dari hasil yang diharapkan yang diantaranya adalah menciptakan pedoman
untuk membuat peraturan (policy) untuk memfasilitasi perkembangan ICT untuk
meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, menyediakan case study pemanfaatan IoT, dsb.
