Abstract

Construction Project Management is a well-known job worldwide. Many different types of

construction projects need a project manager for the job to go well. Although one does not need

any schooling to enter the construction world, a few certifications can help. Project Management

Professional(PFP), Certified Construction Manager(CCM), and Certified Professional

Constructor(CPC) are all examples of certifications that can help in the world of construction.

Currently, there are 112,664 Construction Project Management jobs in the United States. Two

thousand-four of those jobs are right here in Minnesota. There is a very high demand for this job;

each year, there are 70,000 openings projected for the next decade. The average wage in this job

is approximately $80,000 and can increase by obtaining different certifications. Occupations in

this field can include a Facilities Manager, Cost Estimator, or Job Site Superintendent.

Construction Project Managers are needed all over the US. Some local employers could be

Knutson Construction, All Craft Exteriors, or even Ryan Companies out of the Twin Cities.
