God’s Love (Colossians 3:12-17 NIV)

18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

1. God’s love fixes our broken hearts     he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
“It is possible to look whole on the outside but broken on the outside.” Psalms 147:3-He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

“Our brokenness brings our knees back to Him.”

2. God’s love cleanses us

Luke 11:38, "The Pharisee was astonished to see that Jesus did not first wash before
dinner."

Romans 3:10- Ayon sa nasusulat, “Walang matuwid, wala kahit isa.
Job 17:4- You have closed their minds to understanding, but do not let them triumph.
“Our breaking point is our breakthrough point”
Matthew 15:8-9, 8 “‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me; 9
in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
“The heart of the problem is our hearts.”
“His love won't demand change, but it will provide change, for it is impossible to remain the
same after experiencing God's great love.”

“We can only get over from our brokenness when we go through it.”

“Do not allow the brokenness keep you from worshipping the Lord.” 3. God’s love bind us

“Do not allow your brokenness to keep you from serving the Lord.” (Colossians 3:12-17 NIV)
