Title:

The institute's chosen title, "green aviation," reflects its mission to educate Filipinos about
environmental responsibility while also promoting long-term economic growth in the aviation
industry. The airport's primary hue, green, is meant to represent the airport's overarching concept
of "Going Green," which encompasses a wide range of ecologically friendly goods, services, and
policies.

Theme of the design (and why):

The sustainable design of the institute will put the safety and comfort of its students and
teachers first by using cutting-edge green construction techniques. These institutions go above
and beyond the mere use of recycled materials in their construction; therefore, the alternative
name "high-performance schools." The building's design will be an interesting fusion of
contemporary and environmentally friendly elements. Therefore, steps to lessen the likelihood of
establishing heat islands, as well as those to lessen the effects of light pollution and implement
interior air quality monitoring will all bolster an airport's sustainable credentials.

Social Significance:

Green architecture is an ideology of architecture that promotes sustainable energy

sources, energy conservation, the reuse and safeness of building materials, and the siting of a
building about its environmental impact. Thus, a green airport is more sustainable because it
reduces the environmental impact of airport operations and lessen the effects of climate change
on other facilities and operations. Moreover, the potential of building design and construction is
sustainable architecture. Architects and designers can help address some of our time's most
pressing environmental and social challenges by using renewable resources, reducing waste and
pollution, and designing buildings that are efficient, healthy, and functional. Sustainable
buildings not only have a lower environmental impact, but they also improve occupant health and
well-being, provide economic benefits, and boost brand reputation. Thus, redirecting our steps in
reshaping the future of aviation infrastructures can somehow influences the youth today in
utilizing the ideology of sustainable and green innovation Objectives:

1. Maximize site potential

Creating a space in which every part of the area is used and no space is left
unutilized. This may be accomplished by providing extra area for aircrafts so that
students can practice, as well as restaurants or canteens. This will also ensure that every
available area is utilized efficiently and effectively.
2. Optimize energy usage
To minimize energy usage, green aviation will use renewable energy resources
like as solar panels and solar water heaters. By creating architectural solutions that allow
more natural light to enter the space, we may lessen our reliance on artificial lighting.

3. To motivate and inspire aspiring future aviator students

Having a setting that is visually appealing by employing green spaces and, more
importantly, where students can efficiently use the rooms. This produces a healthy
atmosphere that is favorable to learning while saving energy, and materials. This will
excite and inspire aviators to study in a less crowded environment.
4. Use Environmentally Friendly Landscaping Practices
Green walkways and environmentally friendly roadways are ideal modes of
mobility. Flora landscapes will be supported by the landscapes. This can assist to
encourage more sustainable and climate-appropriate landscapes, which can be
accomplished through xeriscaping and the use of native plants.
