1.

The first thing you can do to influence workplace culture and values is to
get to know your colleagues on a personal level. That is, you should view
and treat them as people — not just coworkers — and support them. Be
the person who befriends new team members, many of whom may feel
out of place joining your organization remotely or adjusting to a
multidisciplinary environment. Invite them to lunch or to chat over a
virtual coffee. Suggest other people that would be good for them to
connect with, or if you are in the office, take the initiative to introduce
them yourself. Second thing you can do is to recognize and celebrate
team members for their work since it is a great way to set an example
and develop a positive culture, even if it’s only within your department.
Your actions will signal that you’re paying attention, that you notice
other people’s contributions, and that you’re an advocate of their work.
2. The importance of having core values in a business is that it facilitates
decision-making. A company will eliminate products if its core value is
standing behind quality. Core values educate current and future clients
and customers about the company’s products and services since they set
expectations for the outcome of future interactions which helps a
company gain a competitive edge. Core values are the key tools for
recruiting and retention. Job seekers will apply for jobs at companies
that share their values. Aside from that core values can help distinguish
a company’s identity in specific ways. A company becomes more
competitive, both in the marketplace and as an employer when its
clients and employees know what it stands for. Core values establish
that.
3. I learned that listening to customer complaint is important. No matter
how much criticism sucks, it is vital to a business. Especially for
industries that lean on subjective tastes to make a profit. Ask anyone
who’s trying to thrive in the creative space, feedback is one of the most
important fuels in making progress. Criticism allows people to create a
roadmap to corrective action and optimized results.
