GENERAL PRINCIPLE OF CURRICULUM

classroom settings showing the principle of the curriculum that you will choose.

Community-Centeredness

Community - based learning refers to a wide variety of instructional methods and

programs that educators use to connect what is being taught in schools to their surrounding
communities, including local institutions, history, literature, cultural heritage, and natural
environment. Now here the scenario “A group of students undertake a research project on a
local environment problem in collaboration with a scientist or nonprofit organization.” In
this situation, the students will come up with an idea on what are the problem on that community
or place. After all, they will make a solution on how to solve or minimize that problem is.
