This document provides a brief summary of your key benefits.

1. Annual Leave, Rest Days and Holidays


Item Description
Annual Leave On completion of 12 months continuous service, you are entitled
to 21 Calendar days of annual leave per year. Annual leave is
non-cumulative and must be taken in full within 12 months of
the date of entitlement.

Your leave year will be based on your Commencement Date.


You may take accrued annual leave in any leave year at such
times as may be approved by the Company. You shall be
deemed to have taken your statutory annual leave entitlement
accrued from the previous leave year first. Annual leave not
taken by the end of the 12-month period following the leave year
in which they accrued shall be forfeited without compensation
to the extent permitted by law.

On termination of employment,
After probation period - you shall be eligible to pro-rated
annual leave based on your annual leave eligibility.

Item Description
Rest Days and Holidays You are entitled to general holidays in the KSA, but the
Company may in its discretion assign other days as substitutes
for any or all of the holidays subject to KSA Labour System.
You are entitled to two rest days per seven days. You are
currently entitled to Friday and Saturday off, but you may have
to report to work on either of those days depending on the
business needs. This will be compensated in line with HR
policy

2. Other Leave
Item Description
Sick Leave* As per the KSA Labour System, A worker whose illness has
been proven shall be eligible for a paid sick leave for the first.
thirty days, three quarters of the wage for the next sixty days
and without pay for the
following thirty days, during a single year, whether such leaves
are continuous or intermittent.
A single year shall mean the year which begins from the date
of the first sick leave.
Maternity Leave* A female Colleague shall be entitled to a maternity leave for
the four weeks immediately preceding the expected date of
delivery and the subsequent six weeks. The probable date of
delivery shall be determined by the physician of the firm or
pursuant to a medical report
Compassionate Leave 5 days' full pay in the event of the death of immediate relative
of employee, i.e., parents, spouse, children, siblings, parent-in-
laws and grandparents.
Marriage and Paternity 3 days of paid leave in the case of childbirth and 5 days for
Leave marriage

3. Medical, Maternity and Dental Benefits

Housing Allowance You will be entitled for accommodation allowance of 25% of
your net salary per month to include rent, management fees,
government rates.

6. Other Benefits

Item Description
Employee discount at F&B 50% off at selected restaurants in SLJD, subject to Company
Outlets policy. You must bring along the Shangri-La Card and settle
bill by credit card under your name.

Uniform A uniform will be provided as per company standard, this


applies to both male and female colleagues.
Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Complementary for business attire and 50% off guest's rate
Services offered by SLJD for personal clothes after the operating of the
hotel facilities.

Transportation Transportation Allowance equal to 10% of basic salary on


monthly base
