SAVE IT BY DISCPLINING EVERY
INDIVIDUAL.

------------
Many of us presume of turning the faucet on and drinking potable water
instantly at the comfort of our home. It requires a lot of work to provide a
resident or a community with drinkable water in many parts of the world. To meet
the most basic human needs, villagers, primarily women and children, bravely
journey over perilous paths, rivers, and oceans.

More children die from diarrhea each day than from AIDS, malaria, and
measles combined, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC). About 88% of diarrhea-associated deaths are linked to contaminated
water, inadequate sanitation, and insufficient hygiene. We can keep the kids from
passing away with your help.

Water is life and it is everyone’s needs without water we cannot live in this

------------
world. It is very important to preserve it and save by doing little by little together
we can save lives and would have plenty of it. The World Health Organization
collaborates with the Philippine Department of Health and other sector
organizations to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene in healthcare facilities
while also strengthening systems and capacity for drinking-water quality
surveillance and monitoring. This effort aims to provide safe water for all.

WATER SHORTAGE IN THE

PHILIPPINES IS A RISK TO HUMAN
LIFE.

------------
- Orly G. Alibangbang

------------ Access to clean, potable water in the Philippines has intensified into a

crisis, according to the top executive of a global nonprofit organization working

to improve water and sanitation conditions around the globe. In the Philippines,

------------
roughly 1 in 10 individuals still do not have access to improved water sources.

Water-related advocacy such as World Water Day, celebrated every 22

March, is crucial in bringing global attention to the importance of water. This

year’s World Water Day theme is ‘Leaving no one behind’.

“Water is a highly crucial resource that we cannot survive without. But

------------
there are Filipinos who are still being left behind in terms of access to improved

water sources, especially in rural communities,” said Dr Gundo Weiler, WHO

Representative in the Philippines.

Inadequate and sporadic water supply in Metro Manila and in other parts

of the country might have major health repercussions. When there is a lack of

water, people are frequently forced to rely on potentially unsafe drinking water

sources. They may also lack sufficient water for basic hygiene – to wash

themselves and their clothes, and to prevent infection including from foodborne

------------
and waterborne diseases. Due to a lack of supply, low or negative water pressure

in pipes can draw in contaminants that will jeopardize the quality of the water

once the supply is restored.

------------
Additionally, people are forced to save extra water due to the limited supply. If

handled improperly, this will give mosquitoes more chances to breed and

subsequently increase the cases of diseases spread by mosquitoes, such as dengue

fever.

WATER SCARCITY: A WRATH TO

HUMAN LIFE.
- Orly G. Alibangbang

------------
------------ Water is the basic necessity of every human being, yet water scarcity is a

serious issue that is developing extremely rapidly in India presently. The problem

has become so severe that in several states the groundwater has nearly dried up

------------
and people have to depend on water supplies from other sources.

In addition, water is one of the most misused natural resources that we still

waste. It is the central point of our lives but unfortunately, not our priority

concern. Earlier, people knew the value of water and structured their lives around

it.

in spite of possessing information, we still fail to appreciate the worth of water

in our life.

account of water, numerous civilizations have flourished and collapsed. Water

scarcity is the cause of mismanagement and excess population growth of the

------------
water resources. In addition, it is a problem that man-made and is getting worse.

To conclude, water scarcity has become a more dangerous problem day by

day. Also, due to our leniency that we haven’t taken the problem water scarcity

seriously. But, currently the authorities and people are attempting to overcome

this problem so that our future generations do not have to buy this essential.
