General information: 1

For shower trays with an assembly or installation frame

(FR/ESR) whose side length is 90 cm or longer, Kaldewei
currently recommends a broad-based central support sys-

tem. Previously, the ESR and FR installation instructions
suggested fashioning an enclosure out of the edge strips 3
of the cardboard container and filling it with two-component
polyurethane foam in order to create a central support
structure.
With the Central-Support-System for attachment under-
neath the shower tray, Kaldewei has now developed a ready-
made, height-adjustable and yet still broad-based (min. 4
400 cm²) shower tray support. It consists of a pre-

assembled, adjustable system of polystyrene wedges.
The height is infinitely adjustable via a tilted plane and two 6
sliding plates. By combining these with adapter panels, a
height of 63 to 150 mm can be attained for Superplan
shower trays (25 mm depth). Minimum and maximum
heights vary depending on the depth of the individual

shower tray.
