Once upon a time in a village, lived a little family.

The family consisted of

father, mother, and a beautiful girl named Bawang Putih.One day, the happiness in
this family became sadness because the mother died.Bawang putih is very sad,
because her mother diedBut, not for long her father got married again , and Bawang
Putih has a step mom and a step sister, called Bawang Merah.At first, the mother
and Bawang Merah pretended they treated Bawang Putih very well. But that happiness
didn't last long.Bawang Putih's step mother and her sister were so rude, they began
to treat Bawang Putih worse and worse.One day, Bawang Putih went to a river to wash
some clothes. Accidentally, her mother’s clothes were washed away by the river.She
was really worried so she walked along the riverside to find the clothes. Finally
she met an old woman. She said that she will help her.That woman gave Bawang Putih
pumpkin, after she help her.At home, her step mother and sister got angry because
they clothes were gone.But, they wanted to open that pumpkin, they were so
surprised, because Inside the pumpkin they found jewelries.Bawang Merah immediately
went to the river. She threw the clothes and pretended to search them. Not so long
after that, she met the old woman.
That woman gave her pumpkin just like Bawang Putih, but now the pumpkin is bigger.
She was so happy.
At home, Bawang Merah directly smashed the pumpkin to the floor. They were
screaming. There were a lot of venomous snakes inside the pumpkin!
After that happened, Bawang Putih decided to sell all the jewelries that she has
before, and used the money for her daily lives. since, she lived alone now. Then
she lived happily.
