The meaning of 

Regional Emblem of Tangerang Regency

Upper part of emblem

The 5 shield shoots symbolize Pancasila which is the basis of the


Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia

The arrangement of bricks is a symbol of the defence fort that


reminds us of the folk heroes of Tangerang Regency. 

The number of bricks symbolizes the date, month, and year of the
Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, namely
August 17, 1945. 

Middle part of emblem

The number of rice grains, cotton flowers and bamboo segments


symbolize the date, month, and year of Tangerang Regency's
Anniversary. Twenty-seven grains of rice symbolize the 27th, twelve
cotton flowers symbolize the 12th month, forty-three bamboo
segments symbolize the year 1943

The bamboo hat symbolizes handicrafts and industrial products from


Tangerang Regency.

 Lower part of emblem

The wavy white line symbolizes that Tangerang Regency is crossed by


large rivers. 

The wavy blue and white line symbolizes the sea which means that
Tangerang Regency is a coastal area.
