The Drizzle that Rained like Shouting Koalas

A Short Story
by Untitled writer

Tommy Olsson was thinking about Tristan Smart again. Tristan was a friendly teacher
with wide lips and handsome fingers.

Tommy walked over to the window and reflected on his pretty surroundings. He had
always loved noisy Cambridge with its mammoth, magnificent mountains. It was a
place that encouraged his tendency to feel jumpy.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a friendly
figure of Tristan Smart.

Tommy gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a gracious, witty, tea
drinker with curvy lips and blonde fingers. His friends saw him as an alive, alert
academic. Once, he had even helped a courageous baby flamingo recover from a flying
accident.

But not even a gracious person who had once helped a courageous baby flamingo
recover from a flying accident, was prepared for what Tristan had in store today.

The drizzle rained like shouting koalas, making Tommy stressed. Tommy grabbed a
tattered ruler that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.

As Tommy stepped outside and Tristan came closer, he could see the young glint in
his eye.

Tristan gazed with the affection of 3221 clumsy putrid pigeons. He said, in hushed
tones, "I love you and I want a resolution."

Tommy looked back, even more stressed and still fingering the tattered ruler.
"Tristan, let's move in together," he replied.

They looked at each other with puzzled feelings, like two hushed, handsome hamsters
loving at a very bold Halloween party, which had piano music playing in the
background and two cold-blooded uncles loving to the beat.

Tommy regarded Tristan's wide lips and handsome fingers. "I feel the same way!"
revealed Tommy with a delighted grin.

Tristan looked ecstatic, his emotions blushing like a silky, squealing sandwich.

Then Tristan came inside for a nice cup of tea.
