B. Write an essay of 270-300 words. Use the checklist to make sure you have a well-organized essay.

The word meaning of globalization is the process by which things all over the world become more similar.
As a result, some changes have occurred in areas such as the technology communications economy. Global-
ization, which can actually be very beneficial, with unconscious people has many negative effects today. The
widening of the gap between the rich and the poor, child labor and the disappearance of small and local
stores are just a few of them. This essay will explain the negative effects of globalization

First of all, employers nowadays need a large number of employees because of globalization. As a result,
employers who do not want to pay too much for their employees hire children, who are poor, for work long
hours with little money.
I think this is the biggest problem that globalization gives us because if we do not protect and protect chil-
dren, we will face huge problems in the future.

Secondly, and similarly to the first, globalization also widens the gap between the poor and the rich. The rich
get richer, the poor get poorer. Some people live comfortably in their luxurious homes, while others try to
live in slums or even on the streets. I think the biggest reason for this is ruthless employers because they earn
too much money but pay too little salary to their employees.

Finally, small shops and markets are forced to go bankrupt because big companies occupy a big place in the
economy. Due to various reasons, the prices in big companies such as supermarkets are lower than local
shops. So people want to buy cheap ones. As I mentioned before, the poor cannot escape from impoverish-
ment as a result of the abuse of globalization

To sum up, as I explained above, globalization affects our lives in many ways. This includes effects that
could be very dangerous for us. But with a little consciousness and compassion, we can minimize these nega-
tivities.
