ACL

“The ACL is a key structure in the knee joint” Duthon VB, Barea C, Abrassart S, Fasel JH, Fritschy

D, Ménétrey J. Anatomy of the anterior cruciate ligament. Knee Surg Sports

Traumatol Arthrosc, Oct 19 2005, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16235056/.

This article offers straightforward, wellstated, facts as to why we need our ACL in order

to walk consistently. The two different sections of our ACL, which are both designed to initiate

two very different functions, are discussed in detail, in this article. I found this article very

advantageous to my research, because It was laid out and organized in a very effective and

effecient way, which made it easier for me to find certain extremley crucial information. I truly

feel as though, if athletes are expected to maintain a fit, healthy lifestyle, they should have rather

quick and simple access to information about our bodies. This article made it to where i could

see the functions, different parts, and even what the ACL is made of, all on one website.
