Guidelines For Poster Presentation at the 25th AIFSC 2023

1. Size of the poster: 3 feet (height) X 4 feet (width)

2. The title should be written in a large font size, and at the very top of
the poster
3. If the presenter wishes to put the logo of their institution, it should
be placed in the left or the right corners of the poster
4. The presenting author’s name should be underlined, and the
corresponding authors’ names should be marked with an asterisk (*)
5. Following points should be included in the poster
a. Abstract
b. Introduction
c. Materials and Methods
d. Results
e. Discussion
f. Conclusions
g. References
h. Acknowledgements, if any
6. Presentation format
a. Short bulleted statements are preferred
b. Results in the form of figures, graphs, diagrams, etc. are
preferred. However, tables and short bullets are acceptable as
well
c. Statistical data should be titled and summarized in a concise
manner
d. The content of the poster should be displayed in a logical
manner
e. Standard fonts (Arial, Calibri, Helvetica, etc.) should be used
f. The font size should be minimum 16 to ensure that the content
is readable from a distance
g. Poster should be printed using high grade laser printer
h. Use of multiple colours in graphs and figures is suggested
