Write an essay to compare and contrast two methods of learning: online and offline.

In our new globalization, the rapid development of society has made everything go along with it.
Therefore, there has been came into the society a new learning method called online learning, and it
has a big impact on the educational system. While both traditional and new method have some
similarities, they also contain many differences.
Firstly, in terms of teaching method, it can be seen that both way aims to convey knowledge to
learners. However, they are differently showed in the way of conducting which means the
instructional techniques are unfamiliar. Offline learning leans toward to traditional approach such as
white boards and markers, while online learning seem to use digitalized tools as laptops, computers,
or other gadgets like videos, records, and so on.
Next, it is obvious that teacher is a facilitator notwithstanding any methods. Nevertheless, when
we go to class and meet our instructors in real life, it is more convenient and effective regarding
interact not only with them but also our peers. On the other hand, without being face-to-face with
lecturers would be a con because it reduces our engagement and excitement in learning. As an
illustration, in Covid-19 pandemic, students was so frustrated and bored with online learning
because it reduces not only their passions but also their exhilaration.
Finally, regarding independence, online learning seem to be more independent as students can
learn and advance at their own pace, and they are able to control everything such as learning tools
or their targets. On the other hand, offline learning is under a strict supervision of lecturers.
Therefore, it is hard for them to be able to do things they long because they have to follow a planed
system.
To conclude, some prefer offline learning, meanwhile others lean toward to another one.
However, the ultimate goal of both ways is to help people perceive knowledge or learn new things.
New learning method and traditional one have its own pros and cons as long as we know how to
correctly apply it into our study, and it is even especially necessary in the modern life where
technology and information are rapidly developed.
