KOBELCO BME800HD - VERHOEF

RETURN TO FOUNDATION RIGS | KOBELCO

Verhoef from Meerkerk (NL) owns two of these Kobelco BME800HD foundation rigs. This rig
was used in Zaandam (NL) to drive piles for a new hotel.
The Kobelco BME800HD is as a lifting crane an 80 tonne crane equipped with two 20 tonne
hoist winches. The engine is a HINO P11C-UN with 247 kW power, with the engine are three
hydraulic pumps driven. The machine can supply the oilflow for the hydraulic hammer, a
separate power pack is not required.
The rig is with a Junttan HHK 9a hydraulic impact hammer on the move. The hammer has a
weight of 13.4 tonnes and the ram weights 9 tonnes. The hammer has a length of about 7
meters

The undercarriage is 6 meters long and 4.83 meters wide. For the transport over the road the
crawlers can retrack to 3.2 meters. Between the crawler is in total 6.7 tonnes of central ballast
mounted. On the upperstructure is 25.7 tonnes of counterweight mounted.
The rig is here fitted with a 30.5 meter main boom, the leader has a 36 meter length.
It is possible with this rig to drive piles up to 30 meters in length and 50 centimeters in squire.
