I chose the Campanile hotel located at street Józefa Piłsudskiego 27.

It is a 3-star hotel from the

Louvre Hotels group. They can also be found in France, Italy or Spain.

Guests posting their reviews on www.tripadvisor.com showed that the advantage of the location of
this facility is the proximity to the city center (the heart of the city), proximity to a shopping center,
proximity to grocery stores, good connection of the hotel with public transport. This hotel is an ideal
starting point for exploring Łódź. Despite the good reviews you can read that the main disadvantage
is the very noisy main street.

Despite the hotel's good location, opinions are divided. The first part of people assessed the hotel as
friendly, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel service was nice and helpful. The prices are
adequate to the quality, it’s elegant there. The second group of people described, that the corridor
smells bad, breakfasts are monotonous, rooms are small (sometimes dirty), wi-fi breaks and air
conditioning is not working. The hotel car park is safe but it was completely dark there. One review
for a disabled room indicated that in the room was too dark.

I believe that the location is an independent factor in the selection of a given facility. However, the
location does affect the quality of the stay - if the hotel is in a bad location it will be rated badly. The
3-star Hotel Campanile turned out to be mostly pleasant, but has various small flaws that are easy to
fix. I believe that hotel location reviews do not contribute to overall trip rating on Tripadvisor. Most
of the guests using the services of this facility were satisfied with its location in the very center of the
city, despite minor malfunctions of the facility.
