Assignment for the Paper Score (10%) and Presentation (10%)

1. For the students having (buying) the book entitled “Teaching Reading Skills and
Reading Comprehension for Students of Economics”.

a. Answer the reading comprehension questions of Unit 8,9, 10, 11, 13,16, and17 (Scan
using genius scan application).
b. Drawing the chart of ideas of the texts in those units and reconstruct the texts based
on the chart of ideas you have made in A4. Try to use your own words. Send them in
pdf format.
c. Collect them in one pdf file for each student (The name of the file: MAN /class/
NPM/ Name).
d. Submit them in e-kuliah on the 12th teaching session.
e. Choose one of the UNITS for your oral presentation on the 14th or 15th teaching
session.

2. For the students who do not have (buy) the book entitled “Teaching Reading Skills
and Reading Comprehension for Students of Economics”.

a. Find 4 chapters of Management textbooks written in English (MSDM, Marketing,

or Operation Management). Each chapter consists of at least 5 pages. Each student
must have different chapter;
b. Write questions dealing with micro processes (2 questions), integrative processes
(2questions), macro processes (4questions), and elaborative processes (2questions)
for each chapter, so there will be 40 questions from 4 chapters;
c. Answer those questions;
d. Draw the chart of ideas of each chapter;
e. Reconstruct the chapters using your own words and based on the chart of ideas of
each chapter you have made;
f. Don’t forget to copy the Chapters written in English and submit them together with
your work;
f. Collect b,c,d, and e in one file in pdf format for each student ((The name of the file:
MAN /class/ NPM/ Name);
g. Submit them through my email on the 12th teaching session;
h. Choose one of the Chapters for your oral presentation on the 14th or 15th teaching
session.
