SPEECH
Good Afternoon classmates and teacher, this time I’m going to talk about “Dealing with
Stressful Academic Life”

The stress of academic life is unavoidable and this influences the performance of each student.

the most common causes of stress in students are:

-living away from home

-academic pressure

-adjusting to a new grade level

Today I will talk about two tips for dealing with academic stress.

-*The first is positive thinking

It is about having an optimistic mindset.

You should be thinking

Why does positive thinking relieve academic stress?

because positive thinking opens your mind to humor

And sure, finding humor in education may not be easy, but it is very possible.

You can read novels, watch movies and series, even laugh at yourself by sharing your bad
experiences with your friends.

-You should also talk to yourself positively

if you had a bad day at school or university

You should say to yourself:

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Because, if I fall down, I can get up

I am unstoppable

Those words carry a lot of weight in us.

-*The second tip is about effective time management

when we have to fulfill all our obligations such as homework, exams and participate in
extracurricular activities.

It is difficult to get organized. However, if we are clear about what is important, it is easier.

How can I organize my time well?

Say no to procrastination

if we have to do some research or we have to study for an exam.

When we leave it to the end and focus our time on other things, this generates anxiety and
stress in us.

Make a schedule and try to stick to it

Maybe not planning our whole year but we can schedule study times, relaxation times, times
to clean our room or to practice some sport.

Remember that our schedule is a guide to keep us on track.

Thak you very,That’s all.
