journalism class; assisting student reporters and photojournalists; writing print stories as needed;
managing social media handles. Anchoring sports show as needed.

and Marquette Lately; responsibilities included anchoring, running the teleprompter, operating
cameras and floor directing.

Marquette Radio: Host

● Spring 2021 - Present: creator and host of Wire to Wire & Flag to Flag, a weekly half hour show
covering horse racing, NASCAR, and other motorsports. Appearances from prominent guests when
possible.

Saratoga Special: Staff Writer

● Wrote previews, recaps, and features, roughly 4,000 words per paper, for twice-weekly horse racing
newspaper covering Saratoga Race Course
● Pitched stories and connected with future sources, including 2022 Kentucky Derby-winning trainer
Eric Reed and then wrote feature on him
● Conducted interviews for my own stories as well as senior writers
● Writing on two-hour deadlines for up-to-date reporting for contracted organization’s websites
